Enjoy the artwork contributed by my friends and fellow artists who participated in our “Layers of Color Challenges!”
The Challenge: Multiply the giggles in the world, make someone laugh out loud and smile all over! Use at least one stamp to create a card, book, jewelry, mixed media, painting, RAK, scrapbook page, 3" x 5" skinny, or any hand made creation. Then share with us how you gave from your heart with your works of art!
The Challenge: Make a Skinny (3" X 5" artwork) with a Friendship theme. This is a great opportunity to bless a buddy with your special 'work of heart'! Use at least one stamp in your artwork.
The Challenge: Use at least one stamp to emboss your artwork with metal, paper, ink, whatever form of embossing your creative mind imagines and your clever hands create.
The Challenge: Make a crown out of paper using a least one stamp. It could be a birthday crown or a regal headpiece for a doll or pet. You could create a crown for yourself and become Queen of your studio!
The Challenge: Remember folding fans when you were a child? This is similar, but smaller and more detailed. Follow the steps to make a stamped and colored paper umbrella, then step out and experiment with the basic idea.
The Challenge: For the Layers of Color Boutique Grand Opening, create Something That Opens as part of your artwork. Add a window or door, a card with something special inside, or a hinged object d'art. And...since this is a party, if you wish you can also add any Party Style element to your artwork. Create a celebration theme or add extra sparkle!
The Challenge: From the top, the ocean is just a vast body of water, but below, thrives an awe inspiring world of wonder! Today, let's Celebrate the Sea with our creativity!
The Challenge: Let's add a playful touch to our artwork this week by adding balloons! Think of unusual patterns, textures, or images in the balloons...create with various materials like lace, beads or metal...imagine carrying a child to the clouds, or maybe a hot air balloon with an animal in it!
The Challenge: This week's theme is Cake! Add one stamp and a sweet treat to your artwork.
The Challenge: This week's theme is a mood: a cozy retreat, a restful time, comfort and joy... Summer respite.
The Challenge: You can use your country's flag in your artwork, make a banner of artsy flags, or stitch up something creative to fly in the wind for your yard. Use at least one stamp in your artwork and post it in comments any time in the next week.
The Challenge: Start with 1 work of art, add at least one 1 stamp, mix in a variety of tart or sweet berries, layer with colors, sprinkle on originality, and top with a brilliant idea. Bake in your studio until done.
The Challenge: In celebration of this fragrant flower that enhances our lives, our theme this week is Lavender (the flower or the color.) Use at least one stamp in your artwork and share your fragrant creation with us here.
The Challenge: Not your ordinary, garden variety songbirds, but exotic, colorful or strange birds. Use at least one stamp in your art project and join some fine feathered friends in this week's challenge with, Exotic Birds!
The Challenge: Add at least one stamp to your art along with an image of a child, a childhood memory, or use child's art in your project ...anyway you choose... be sure to create with the playfulness of a child!
The Challenge: This week include one stamp and Yellow in your artwork. Here's your golden opportunity to brighten up your day!

The Challenge: Farewell is the last theme for Layers of Color Challenge. Farewell to this challenge, but not to the friends we’ve made. It’s been six months of creative sharing, special new friendships, and joy filled moments. Thank you all for supporting me through Layers of Color Challenge!
