Peace

I created this card for two challenges that are new to me. Friday Sketchers has a sketch that I followed and Daring Cardmakers asks that we add sparkle and bling to our cards. My card features Layers of Color Flower Child art stamp set as the focal point. I’ve also used Layers of Color Fleur Heart art stamp set on the petals and center of the flower. The background is created with handmade papers.

Sweet Sapling

Sweet Sapling Card
Sweet Sapling Card
Wednesday Stamper theme this week is trees. I’ve created a precious baby card with Layers of Color Flower Child stamp (available soon!)

This Sweet Sapling is colored with pencil, and sparkles with green glitter. It grows on handmade paper and textured wallpaper rubbed with baby blue ink.

Purple and Gold Mixed Media Monday

Pincushion
Pincushion
Ta Da! Here it is my purple and gold pincushion for Mixed Media Monday. It is 2.5 x 4 inches, and is decorated with ribbons, feathers, pipe cleaner, buttons, and flowers. I also cut out a part of the Layers of Color Fleur Heart stamp to add more depth to the petals. This is not a color combo that I use often. But, because of this inspirational challenge, I look forward to using it more often.

Paris in the Spring!

This week’s Theme Thursday - Paris! I was inspired with several ideas, so I chose to do two. Ooh la la!

A paper Parisian fan using copies of old tinted photos, pencil, inks, gel and silver leaf pens, Layers of Color Fleur Heart stamp, a piece of costume jewelry, and lots of doodles (no, not poodles, doodles ~ little hand drawings). It’s approximately 14″ tall.

Be sure to see my second creation in the next blog  below!

Paris!

I couldn’t resist using this old photograph in my second creation for the Paris challenge on Theme Thursday.

Isn’t she such a saucy dish? She looks like, “Too much is never enough!”…if only I knew how to say that in French! She’s so materialistic I thought she should be fashioned on a fancy plate with silk, beads, silver leaf and Layers of Color Fleur Heart stamp.
