Mixed Media Monday, Paint

Cadillac Farm

My husband and I drove from Seattle, WA to Jacksonville, FL shortly after our wedding and honeymoon. We had researched many Route 66-like stops and the Texas Cadillac Farm was one of them. This free exhibit displays 10 Cadillacs buried halfway in the ground and guests are free to “decorate” the cars as they wish. We visited in the heart of winter when the mud was deep and large ice plates still rested on the ground. This adventure is highly recommended to those who do not covet their shoes (smile).

For Mixed Media Monday, paint theme I have made a 12×12 scrapbook page. I used Layers of Color Bead Frame, Gothic Crosses and Architectural Blocks stamp sets. I thought a messy paint look would work well the with the pictures and it was fun not having to “stay in the lines”. Thank you looking!

Grow, One Little Word Challenge

Grow

Home Grown
Home Grown

This was a fun word and I thank all the fabulous One Little Word artists for your inspiration. Here is my interpretation for the word grow. I used Basic Grey papers and Layers of Color Architectural Blocks, Flower Child, and Garden Borders stamp sets. Thank you for looking.
