Altered Photo Album

This photo album was made to hold my artwork to inspire other artists at my next art stamp demonstration. I used canvas as a base and applied many splashes of color with acrylic paints and colored pencil.

God is With Her

God is With HerThis week’s theme on Wednesday Stamper is using arrows in your artwork. I created a 6″ X 8″ page for a book on faith using Layers of Color stamps, (available soon). The arrows run along the right edge and are created with zigzag scissors, rectangular punch and black markers.

This also works well for the Believe theme on SALT, because Faith is believing in what we do not see.

This is a shared mother and daughter blog, today’s artwork is created by Laura, the Mama.

God is With Her… her faith carries her farther than she can go alone

Pink in the Springtime

Pink in the Springtime SkinnyThis week’s theme at Theme Thursday is the color combination of pink and brown. I created a bird Skinny in celebration of springtime.

This is a shared mother and daughter blog, today’s art is created by Laura, the Mama.

My Skinny is based on cardboard and cardstock with embossed wallpaper. I’ve added bird and nest images cut-out from a Dover book, stamped with Layers of Color Architectural Block stamp, colored with markers, chalks, pencils, and embellished with an earring finding. Happy spring!
