“Togetherness”,  12″ X 12″ Layout by Irene Tan

Ooo, this is so rich with loving emotions and beautiful details!

Irene has sweetly snuggled Backyard Birds on the corner of her daughter’s photo. She’s given more life to the page with layers of flowers and flourishes from Flowering Gems and Old World Flourish art stamp sets.

Vintage Medallion art stencil adds a delicate lace-like design to the background.

In the corner of the page Irene has used Backyard Birds art stamps to further express togetherness. They rest on Garden Borders and are connected to the photo through the organic shapes of Natural Flourish art stencil.

Beautiful details that make this layout sing are Old World Flourish art stamp, Victorian Corner and Botanical Swirls art stencils. I’m inspired by Irene’s creative idea to stencil on the cut out butterfly. Magnificent layout!!

Guest Designer ~ Melisa Waldorf

Wow! I’m excited to share Melisa’s artwork with you today! She’s created a card and a scrapbook page that are rich with lovely details, dynamic patterns and inspiring ideas! Enjoy!

“How rare and wonderful is that flash of a moment when we realize we have discovered a friend.”

Card by Melisa Waldorf

I love the shape of the frame and the dotted background that sets it off. Melisa has perfectly placed the Touch of Elegance and Royal Birds art stamps that adds movement and life to this card. The brown gives just the right amount of warmth, and then the “pop” of sunshine-colored roses…WOW, what a classy and elegant card! I think this one should be matted and framed!

“Joyful Noise” layout by Melisa Waldorf

Oh my, this scrapbook page absolutely SINGS with style! Notice the dynamic opposite colors of red and green for excitement and the warm tans and off whites to soften the effect. The layers of musical notes and butterfly are Joyful Noise art stamp set. You can almost hear the violin playing through the active placement of textures and patterns! This romantic yet trendy layout and the artsy photographs sets the mood that clearly expresses a sense for who the beautiful musician is and how much she values her gifts. Spectacular layout!

Please visit Melisa’s blog, “Art From the Heart” to see detailed photographs of these gorgeous pieces featuring Layers of Color products.

May you hear the music of God in His Creations,
