Wednesday Stamper challenge this week is to make artwork that is 2″ X 4″. I’m honored that the hostess, Patty has featured Layers of Color art stamps in her gorgeous sample art this week. Thank you, Patty!

My inspiration started with a pair of beautiful birds from one of my bird books. I cut them out and applied them to my 2 X 4 decorated background. Layers of Color Architectural Blocks art stamps add the detail along the upper edges and the frame is Layers of Color Beaded Frames highlighted with white gel pen. I finished it off with a corner punch in the top corners and used the punch waste for the bottom corners.

I may add this to a special card or other mixed media piece in the future.

New artwork added to the Designer Galleries and Stamper’s Gallery, come visit and be inspired!

Have a colorful day!

This prancing pigeon caught my eye as I was looking through an old bird book for WS Challenge to make a skinny (3″X 5″). God must have had such fun creating birds and their flamboyant courting characteristics!

The featured art stamp in the background is Layers of Color Architectural Blocks. Manipulating the paper with markers, holes, raised dots, tearing and stitching added more details.

This will be made into a card for my eldest daughter’s golden birthday. Jessica will be 23 on the 23rd of March!

Silhouettes are the theme at Wednesday Stamper this week. Here’s what I came up with using Layers of Color Fleur Heart art stamp for the decorative edge and topper.

Eyelet Him Hold My Heart

Eyelets are the theme at Wednesday Stamper and so I made an Anniversary card for my husband. I used Layers of Color Renaissance Hearts and Architectural Blocks. Eyelet him hold my heart, and he treasured it lovingly…

Art it Up!

Wednesday Stamper has challenged us to create using the word, Art. I made two moos this morning. I pondered as I was creating… art isn’t about the object, it’s about the interpretation.  Of course, I used all Layers of Color Signature Art Stamps. :) Two Art Moos
