Wednesday Stamper has challenged us to create using the word, Art. I made two moos this morning. I pondered as I was creating… art isn’t about the object, it’s about the interpretation. Of course, I used all Layers of Color Signature Art Stamps.
This week at Wednesday Stamper the challenge is to alter one or both of their cabinet cards. I cut out the man from one card and applied him to the one with the woman to create door hanger art.
For this fun project I used Layers of Color stamps from the, Beaded Frames Set, Flower Child Set, and Gothic Hearts Set (all available soon!). Acrylic paint, spray mist, markers, watercolor, pencil, ink, hole punch, beaded trim and silk ribbon (Thank you, Heather!) were also used to make this altered cabinet card.
This week’s theme on Wednesday Stamper is using arrows in your artwork. I created a 6″ X 8″ page for a book on faith using Layers of Color stamps, (available soon). The arrows run along the right edge and are created with zigzag scissors, rectangular punch and black markers.
This also works well for the Believe theme on SALT, because Faith is believing in what we do not see.
This is a shared mother and daughter blog, today’s artwork is created by Laura, the Mama.
God is With Her… her faith carries her farther than she can go alone
Wednesday Stamper theme this week is trees. I’ve created a precious baby card with Layers of Color Flower Child stamp (available soon!)
This Sweet Sapling is colored with pencil, and sparkles with green glitter. It grows on handmade paper and textured wallpaper rubbed with baby blue ink.
