Coffee Filter Pocket Card

Jessica and I enjoyed making card samples to show at CHA.  Here is one that I made from coffee filters. A quick and easy project with a unique look…

The coffee filter is colored with Tsukineko’s Walnut Ink spray in Lilac and Cherry Blossom.

The edges are cut with pinking shears. The smaller pocket is cut from a 2nd coffee filter & then glued on top of the first one. Stamps used in this fun project are Flutterescent, Garden Borders, Merci Bouquet & Beaded Frames.

May God richly bless your day with layers of color,

Are you referring to summer CHA in Chicago? I think I will be there, too, Lord-willing. It would be fun to see you there!

I love the rich colors in your filter pocket card. It made me think of an old tapestry.

Hey Laura! Thanks for visiting me and pointing me to your blog and shop! Loved looking at all of your creations and stamps! When I actually have some money… or at least don’t feel guilty about spending what I don’t have… ha.. I will have to come back and see about making a purchase!

What a fun idea! Have awonderful day!

I love what you have done with those coffee filters! They are so beautiful! I love the deepness of the color, and everything you could do with them after they were dry. I wonder if they could be embossed, or if they would tear?

Thank you for sharing your beautiful work.

Traci S.
