my eldest daughter,

Jessica Matthews!

Welcome, Sweetie! We are so happy to have your youthful enthusiasm and fresh talents on our team!

Jessica has been working as Layers of Color Vice President of Sales and Marketing and has had a huge impact on bringing this company to the level we’re at today with over 40 retail shops nationwide and new representatives carrying our line from coast to coast!

She’s been scrapbooking much longer than I have and was successful selling her LOs before joining Layers of Color. She has so many natural talents that take her love of crafting to higher levels and inspire her peers. She’s a great gourmet cook, superb cake decorator, amazing knitter and crocheter, fabulous home decorator and clever DIYer. She’s practically a professional at moving (her incredible hubby is a Navel officer). She’s a disciple of Christ, wonderful sister, daughter, wife and mother to their poodle. She’s popular, and a natural leader, and did I mention she’s beautiful too? Okay, I’m her Mama and I can brag on her a little, but really, come meet her yourself and you’ll fall in-love with her too!

Jessica will be sharing my blog until she starts her own. So we’ll keep you all on your toes as you have to pay attention to which one of us is posting! But it’s okay if you call me by the wrong name, I don’t mind at all being mistaken for a 23-year-old! LOL!

After Layers of Color went to winter CHA, we’re very excited about our new plans and the many opportunities that were presented through networking at the show. Lord willing, 2010 promises to be a year of great growth for Layers of Color! We’ve already jumped ahead early with 31 stores carrying our clear art stamp line! RED RUBBER is on it’s way, so get ready stampers, we have some new products coming soon!

We’ve made some changes here on our design team as well as we’ve promoted our designers to Sr. Design Team! Linda is now our Design Team Coordinator, Heather is our Publication Artist and Patter is heading up our newest venture, Video Production! And a new design team is forming, with Kristine as our first designer of the new year! Please help me in congratulating all these talented ladies and join me in praying for each one!
