36 X 48 CanvasThis is a shared mother and daughter blog, today’s artwork is created by Laura, the Mama.

I have a creative friend, Jeanna, who among her many talents, artistically cuts hair. I bartered with her so I can have cute haircuts from her and she can have a large painting over her fireplace. It looks great on her chocolate-colored wall. I finished this painting today using acrylics on a 36″ x 48″ canvas.Close-up

Hey Laura, I LOVE this painting it is SO gorgeous! I’m sure that Jeanna just loves it too. The colors are so vibrant and rich. And I love how you added patterns to the background for texture- nice technique! Great job my friend!xxoo Heather

I have had a chance to see this close up and it is beautiful. The colors are alive and brillant, the composition is suberb, the beauty unique. I wish all of you could see it in person.
