Yippee!

I’m so excited to announce our newest Designer on the Layers of Color Design Team! Patter Cross is a special stamping sister in Christ who brings fresh sunny paper arts creations to share with us all. New ideas are always blooming in the garden of Patter’s creative mind, from lovely scrapbooking layouts to pretty cards and joyful stamping creations. My eldest daughter, Jessica created this page of her groom and groomsmen from their wedding in December 2006.

This dynamic design was made with Layers of Color Beaded Frames art stamp set.

Attached to the page is the actual boutonniere worn by the groom. I made it with a velvet leaf, ribbon, trim, feathers and faux berries that looked like they are sugar coated. Jessica also adorned this page with Layers of Color Garden Borders, Architectural Blocks art stamp sets and golden netting.

Just above her husband’s name, Jessica added some masculine touches of metal and corrugated cardboard.  The crown and flourish are Layers of Color Regal Wings and Under the Sea art stamp sets.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for showering me with love during my recovery! I’ve been so honored and blessed by you. I’m sorry I haven’t written to each of you. I hope to be able to do that in the near future. In the meantime, Thank you so much!… and big hugs to you all!

Jessica created a page in memory of having her nose pierced this April. It turned out that it did not fit her style, and so two weeks later she removed it. She warns that it does hurt as much as it looks like it does! I love how she combined the black & white with the vibrant colors.

Jessica used Layers of Color birds from the Bird-day Party art stamp set and embossed it with silver. Such a pretty effect.

Jessica’s touch of whimsy is shown in how she used a close-up photo of her nose jewelry as the flower center. The flower is Layers of Color Polka Dot Love embossed on printed paper.

Dearest Blog Friends: It’s been one week since my surgery and I’m healing slowly but surely. Thank you for your continued prayers!

My daughter, Jessica and her husband, Chris enjoyed a special restaurant together in celebration of her Golden birthday (23 years old on the 23rd). She made this fabulous multi-layered scrapbook page about their experience. The restaurant is called Zeste Cafe!

I think this page says “Zeste” with more than words! It’s vibrant colors and combination of creative details and layers of papers & photos give the viewer an exciting sense of discovery! Apparently the food was also, “WOW!”.

All stamps are Layers of Color Art Stamps.	Lunch was so good,they went back for dinner!

My eldest daughter, Jessica gave me this fabulous gift for Mother’s Day! She decorated a candle with Layers of Color art stamps. The results are stunning aren’t they? I adore the color, and texture. I’m so blessed by my children and the love my creative daughter put into this artful gift.
