I have been a Christian for 34 years this year and have a daily walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. I have been stamping on two years now and love being able to combine my love for paper with my love for God. I am a New Zealand born girl and come from a rich bloodline of talented artists. Steeped in tradition I also have been passed the baton of visual language which has empowered me with versatility in broad scopes of expressionism.
I live in Canberra, Australia with my husband of almost twenty years along with my three gorgeous children who add so much texture to my canvas of living art. Content with the surrounds of beautiful snow topped hills and the wildlife inspirations of crimson parrots, red kangaroos and white yellow crested cockatoos; I dwell in the valleys of grassy plains and babbling brooks. My home life is devoted to my family with supports of passionate friends who continue to inspire my heart with gestures of warmth, generosity and love.
I love to explore with papers and stamps whilst Inks and chalks navigate my indulgences through to charismatic designs. My name Linda means beautiful and our family name means light, together with my husband’s name Ron, meaning powerful our hope and desire is to live up to our namesake Beautiful & Powerful Light.
I believe that God has thrown open a door of opportunity for me with card making, not just to craft but to share His Word and my love for Him. My husband and I both are committed Christians and love the Lord dearly. We believe that God has called us to walk with people linking arms with them, knowing that we are all headed in the same direction. Our purpose and desire in Him is to take all those that we can with us whilst on our journey to the finish line…bringing along those who are struggling and need to ‘link’ arms with other believers. We know that we do not need to win first place, but to merely walk with – the lost, the lame and the blind!! Reaching together the entrance to the Kingdom of Heaven!
I am so grateful to God for opening this amazing door for me, it is such a pleasure to walk through it and all that it unfolds along the way. I am grateful too to Laura for trusting me with her precious designs and hope I can do justice to them and inspire you in the process!! God bless you!
