When Laura Campbell can’t find the perfect rubber art stamp for a project, she makes it herself. Blessed with incredible artistic gifts and an endless flow of ideas, Laura can’t seem to draw fast enough to get all of her creative designs onto paper. So, when she created the top-selling Fleur Heart art stamp, friends encouraged her to start Layers of Color Art Stamps: a family-based and God-centered business.
Laura and her eldest daughter Jessica Matthews are very close and always dreamed of the many creative things they would accomplish in business together. Jessica has worked in the art world for years selling fine art for Thomas Kinkade, and she brings to Layers of Color a focus on customer service and an eye for art.
Blessed with their own talents, the rest of the family has also contributed to the success of this rapidly growing company. Laura’s husband Mark Campbell manages products and oversees the Web site and IT systems, and Mark’s father Dave Campbell, Ph.D manages the finances. The business is also supported by a gifted design team with members all over the U.S. and Australia. They are a source of constant inspiration, and their Layers of Color artwork fills the Web site and blog.
